Cookies and tags can be used in page elements for this purpose. For the purpose of website analysis, Google Analytics automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website), from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies can be used for this purpose. Your IP address will not be merged with other data from Google. Data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement on commissioned processing by Google.

For the purpose of optimized marketing of our website, we have activated the data sharing settings for “Google Products and Services” . Data sharing with Google under these data sharing settings is based on an additional agreement between data controllers. We have no influence on the subsequent data processing by Google.

For the purpose of optimized marketing of our website, we use the so-called user ID function. This feature allows us to assign a unique, permanent ID to your interaction data for one or more sessions on our websites and thus analyze your user behavior across devices and sessions.

To create and run tests, we also use the Google Analytics Google Optimize extension feature.

For web analysis, the extension function of Google Analytics Google Signals enables so-called “cross-device tracking”.  Google Ads

For advertising purposes in the Google search results as well as on the websites of third parties, the so-called Google Remarketing cookie is set, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by collecting and processing data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) and by means of a pseudonymous CookieID and based on the pages you visit. Data processing beyond this only takes place if you have activated the “personalized advertising” setting in your Google account. In this case, if you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing.

For website analytics and event tracking, we measure your subsequent usage behavior via Google Ads Conversion Tracking when you have arrived at our website via a Google Ads advertisement. For this purpose, cookies may be used and data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or subscribing to a newsletter) may be collected, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms.

4. DATA SOURCES

Unless otherwise specified, we obtain the data from you (including about the devices you use).

COOKIES

In order to expand the range of functions of our Internet offer and to make the use more comfortable for you, we use so-called “cookies”. With the help of these “cookies”, data can be stored on your computer when you call up our website. You have the option of preventing cookies from being stored on your computer by making the appropriate settings in your browser. However, this may limit the functionality of our offer.

When using the website, cookies are stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive associated with the browser you are using and through which the entity that sets the cookie (in this case, us) receives certain information. Cookies cannot execute programs or transfer viruses to your computer. They serve to make the Internet offer as a whole more user-friendly and effective.

The website uses cookies to the following extent: transient cookies (temporary use), persistent cookies (time-limited use), third-party cookies (from third-party providers).

Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include in particular the session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the joint session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to the website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or you close the browser.

Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period of time, which may differ depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies in the security settings of your browser at any time.

You can configure your browser setting according to your preferences and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. However, we would like to point out that you may then not be able to use all the functions of this website. In your browser settings, you can specify that cookies require your consent each time before they are stored on your computer and become active. Detailed information regarding your browser settings can be found on the providers’ websites or in this guide for the most common browsers.

SERVER LOG FILES

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use. We use this data to improve our offer and make it more user-friendly, to find and correct errors and to control the utilization of servers.

CONTACT FORM

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide in the inquiry form, including the contact data you enter there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

NEWSLETTER DATA

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No other data is collected. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter.

REGISTRATION ON THIS WEBSITE

You can register on our website to use additional features on the site. We use the data entered for this purpose only for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered.
For important changes, for example in the scope of the offer or for technically necessary changes, we use the e-mail address provided during registration to inform you in this way.

SSL ENCRYPTION

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.
If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

DATA TRANSMISSION TO THIRD COUNTRIES

There is a data transfer to third countries outside the European Union. This is done on the basis of contractual regulations provided for by law, which are intended to ensure adequate protection of your data and which you can view on request.

STORAGE DURATION

We store your data,

  • if we need the data to perform a contract, at most for as long as the contractual relationship with you exists or statutory retention periods run,
  • if we use the data on the basis of a legitimate interest, at most for as long as your interest in deletion or anonymization does not prevail.

6. USAGE-BASED ADVERTISING

The advertising displayed on this website is optimized for you by anonymously collecting and processing your usage behavior so that you are shown advertising tailored to your interests. For this purpose, a cookie is stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the hard drive of your computer and allow recognition, but do not allow personal identification of you. Behavioural targeting is operated by third-party companies that also run advertising for third-party websites. These third-party companies then create the aforementioned usage profiles themselves by means of cookies and apply their respective targeting systems to select the collected data for the purpose of user-specific advertising. These are the following companies:

GOOGLE ADWORDS

Google LLC (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA

Conversion cookies are used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who use conversion tracking.

INSTAGRAM

Our website uses so-called social plugins (“plugins”) from Instagram, which is operated by Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Instagram”). The plugins are marked with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an “Instagram camera”. An overview of the Instagram plugins and their appearance can be found here: http://blog.instagram.com/post/36222022872/introducing-instagram-badges

When you visit a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of Instagram. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Instagram directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged in to Instagram. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can directly assign your visit to our website to your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “Instagram” button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored there. The information will also be published on your Instagram account and shown to your contacts there.

For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Instagram, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the privacy policy of Instagram: https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388/

If you do not want Instagram to directly assign the data collected via our website to your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of Instagram plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the script blocker “NoScript”(http://noscript.net/).

YOUTUBE

This website uses plugins from Youtube.de/Youtube.com, which are operated by Youtube, LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When a user calls up a website that contains such a plugin, his browser establishes a direct connection with YouTube’s servers. This transmits to the YouTube server which of the websites the user has visited. If you are logged in as a member of YouTube, YouTube assigns this information to your personal user accounts of these platforms. When using these plugins, such as clicking/starting buttons of a video or sending a comment, this information is assigned to your YouTube user account, which you can only prevent by logging out before using the plugin.

Further information on this can be found in the privacy policy at www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy

TWITTER

This website uses the buttons of the Twitter service, which is offered by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. These plugins are recognizable, for example, by terms such as “Twitter’ or “Tweet’ or the Twitter logo. Among other things, they enable a post or a page of this website to be shared on Twitter. When a user calls up a website that contains such a button, his browser establishes a direct connection with Twitter’s servers. The content of the Twitter button is transmitted by Twitter directly to the user’s browser. We therefore have no influence on the scope of the data that Twitter collects with the help of this plugin and can therefore only inform the user according to our level of knowledge: Accordingly, log data such as the user’s IP address, the previously accessed website, etc. are transmitted. Further information on this can be found in Twitter’s privacy policy at. twitter.com/privacy

PINTEREST

Plugins of the social network Pinterest, which is operated by Pinterest Inc., 808 Brannan Street, San Francisco, CA 94103-4904, USA, are integrated on this website. You can recognize the Pinterest plugin by the ‘Pin-it button’ or the button. When a user calls up a website that contains such a button, their browser establishes a direct connection with Pinterest’s servers. Pinterest thereby receives the information that you have visited this website with your IP address. If you click on the Pinterest ‘Pin-it-Button’ or the “P-Button” while you are logged into your Pinterest account, you can link the content of our pages on your Pinterest profile. This allows Pinterest to associate the visit to our pages with your user account. If you are a Pinterest member and do not want Pinterest to collect personal data about you via our website and link it to your membership data stored on Pinterest, you must log out of Pinterest before visiting this website and not click on any of the Pinterest plugins on this website. We point out that we have no influence on the scope of the data that Pinterest collects with the help of this plugin and can therefore only inform the user according to our level of knowledge: Thereafter, log data such as the user’s IP address, the previously accessed website, etc. will be transmitted.
